Short description: The student after completing the course should acquire skills in the Autodesk 3d Studio Max 2019+ for the stage of creation of three dimensional drawings including modeling, materials, texturing to the stage of creating and light settings for commercial projects of visualizations of the landscape architecture objects in communication with client.
Full description: Practical and theoretical classes. Introduction to the Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2020+ and the user interface. Software environment characteristics. User settings, navigation and tools. Working with files and objects. Working with layers. Importing and exporting of files from the AutoCAD and other additional software. Real world measurements based on reference sources. Basics of modeling of landscape architecture objects (shade structures, benches, railings, stairs, etc.). Working with the stock and basic modifications of the 3D objects. Terrain modeling. Material edition and custom shades settings. Creating of materials, textures and applying the UVW mapping. Lightning types and sources. Scene preparation with camera settings to maximize final renderings. Renderer settings for landscape exteriors in Arnold (and Mental Ray) rendering modules.
